The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite uses its powerful catalytic carbon filtration media to treat the very persistent chemical disinfectant chloramine. Ordinary carbon filters are unable to effectively remove this stubborn contaminant that is now being deployed nationwide to replace chlorine. That's why the Home Master Jr. F2 Elite uses the more advanced carbon media known as catalytic carbon. What separates the Home Master Jr F2 Elite from the competition is its granular filters? Many granular filters suffer from a condition where the water bypasses the filtration media completely. A fully channeled and bypassed filter will look like the inside of an anthill, and a substantial amount of the water will pass through it unfiltered. The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite solves this problem by using compression disks, filling the filter cartridge completely, then installs compression disks at the inlet, outlet and between layers to ensure even filtration.
