Description
- A/C Weighting - HT622B features a polarized capacitance microphone and measures audio sound level in decibels, with choice of A or C frequency spectrum weighting. A-weighting rangs 30-130dB used for low-intensity noise as perceived by the human ear; while C-weighting ranging 35-130dB, is high-intensity noise, suitable for analyzing sound pressure levels from machinery engines, etc. A reading in the dB mode pretty much uniformly covers the entire audio spectrum from 30Hz to 8KHz.
- F/S Time Weighting - The sound meter has fast/slow level capture capacity, a slow time weighting is a reading taken over a second; a fast time weighting takes the reading in 125 milliseconds, a good helper for home theater systems, an audio/rec studio, computer & N.F. monitor audio calibration.
