The KERDI-SHOWER-KIT is an all-inclusive shower construction package containing an integrated set of choice components from the Schluter shower family of products. The included SCHLUTER-SHOWER-ST shower tray and SCHLUTER-SHOWER-SC shower curb provide solid support and are ready to be tiled on straight out of the box. The KERDI waterproofing membrane contained in the kit has an extremely low vapor permeance, giving your shower prolonged resistance against both mold and corrosion. Product Features PVC Plastic Flange The KERDI-DRAIN included in this kit uses rigid PVC plastic in its flange construction, guaranteeing years of durability and reliability. Stainless Steel Grate Finish The stainless steel finish used on the grate makes your drain attractive and eye catching. Included Waterproofing Membrane and Seals The KERDI-SHOWER-KIT includes enough KERDI waterproofing membrane to properly waterproof the shower and its entire surrounding area. Also included are two KERDI-SEAL membranes, one for a pipe and one for a mixing valve. KERDI waterproofing membranes are resistant to most chemicals commonly encountered in tile environments, have a very low vapor permeance rating, and will never rot. Prefabricated Substrate Tray and Shower Curb Included in this shower kit is a KERDI-SHOWER-ST shower tray and KERDI-SHOWER-SC shower curb. These are made of expanded polystyrene foam and are useable as a tile substrate from the moment of installation.
