Place the tapered tip of the airlock into the grommet hole to seal the bottle. The air brake kit allows air bubbles to escape during the fermentation process while preventing oxygen from damaging your fermentation and beer brewing. The 3-piece air lock can be removed and completely cleaned with a small brush.
