Description

This upgrade kit features a borosilicate glass bed with a proprietary silicone-carbon composite coating which improves adhesion for PLA and ABS when heated. The incredibly flat glass surface is an excellent at ensuring a level bed and fewer warped prints. Once cooled to room temperature, the print pops off the bed with minimal effort meaning no more damaged parts. Includes PEI sheet for installation on non-coated side of the glass bed. Apply the adhesive backed PEI sheet to a cleaned glass surface and use the included spatula to assist in installation of the sheet on the back side of the bed. PEI works well with higher bed temperatures and all kinds of filaments adhere very well to the surface. The smooth matte finish leaves a smooth finish on the bottom of printed parts. PLA, ABS, PETG and other filaments all can be used effectively with PEI
1 Meter of Capricorn PTFE XS Series tubing which is manufactured in America to very high tolerances of 4mm outer and 1.9mm inner diameter for 1.75mm filaments. The XS Series is rated for temperatures of up to 300 C without any harmful off-gassing. Capricorn tubing helps the filament slide efficiently though the tubing while also improving the retraction settings for all your prints over stock PTFE. 2 PC4-M6 and 2 PC4-M10 fittings with metal teeth prevent the tube from slipping out of the fitting
Premium light weight red aluminum leveling nuts provide more accurate and precise tuning for a level bed. The reduced weight is also better for Y-axis ghosting on print surfaces. Four high quality extra stiff bed springs help to hold in the level bed for longer lengths of time and are less prone to wear. Four binder clips are also included to keep the bed firmly attached to the aluminum bed underneath.
