Description
- Two high quality extended 2040 aluminum extrusions add 10cm to any Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro in only 5 minutes. Each extrusion is quality inspected to ensure all pieces are straight and is 50cm in length and comes pre-drilled with threaded holes for the base and power supply and connects to the original top 2020 extrusion bar included with every Ender.
- One precision machined extended Z-Axis lead screw 45cm with same pitch as stock lead screw for drop in replacement replacement of original. One brass mounting nut also included to mount the X axis gantry firmly to the lead screw. Each unit is inspected by hand to confirm there are no defects and the product will work flawlessly as soon as it is installed.
- Hex wrenches also included to unscrew Z-Axis mounting screws from under the base of the printer as well as the screws connecting the power supply to the Z-Axis frame. To Install, remove the filament holder from on top of the printer and next remove the 2020 extrusion connecting both vertical pieces of the Z-Axis frame. Slowly pull the X-axis gantry up and off of the printer. From under the printer, unscrew the 4 bolts holding the Z-Axis extrusions to the lower frame with the included hex wrench
- Replace with the 50cm new extrusions and bolt into place. Replace one at a time and line up any pre-drilled holes on the extended extrusion with the extrusion piece being removed. Next, replace the stock lead screw with the extended 45cm lead screw and slowly slide the X-Axis gantry back onto the Z-Axis assembly. Re-attach upper 2020 extrusion to both Z-Axis extrusions and finally mount the filament holder back on top.
