A few years ago, I found an old piece of suede from a hot pad I'd received years earlier for a wedding present. I'd used that hot pad for over ten years and loved it, but I couldn't find a good replacement. one day I decided to make one myself. After months of designing and sewing, I finally achieved the perfect fit and feel. Then I thought, "I should sell this!" That was the beginning of my kitchen tools brand, Jane Domestic. I wanted to make higher quality items with more of an heirloom feel.
