These one of a kind, hand illustrated playing cards make a wonderful gift for a soldier, a playing card collector or anyone up for a game of Texas Hold'em Army style! Here are some thoughts from the artist...Jackson Robinson as he began the process of creating this beautiful deck of cards : As an artist and playing card designer, I have the unique opportunity to both create art and also pay respect and say thank you to those in the US Military by creating a deck of cards that honors them and the rich history of the US Army. I also wanted to bring two distinct art styles together. I wanted to try something new, compared to my previous work and try a style more fluid and more raw. However, I wanted to maintain some of the line work of my past as this is who I am and part of what has created my complete style. This deck is a meeting of old and new in what I think will be a wonderful way for me to say thank you to those who have paid a price no matter how small or big in their service to the people of the the United States. Each face card depicts a serviceman or servicewoman in a period correct uniform. This is a visual way to chronicle the evolution of the US Army uniform and dress. Three Aces depict helicopters from different eras and I felt that those who paid the ultimate price should get top honors on the memorial Ace of spades "All gave some...some gave all"
