- BLACK TEA DARJEELING FIRST FLUSH: Our First Flush Darjeeling tea is considered the Champagne of Teas. Cool nights and intense sunshine during the day give this fine tea, which grows on the southern mountain slopes of the Himalayas, its characteristic notes.
- SINGLE ORIGIN & SMALL BATCH: The first flush has a particularly delicate, floral taste. The leaves of the processed first flush should be dark and the infusion of a good first flush varies in color from light gold to amber to golden-green.
- PREPARATION OF THE TEA: To prepare our First Flush Darjeeling black tea, use 1.5 teaspoons of black loose leaf tea for every 8 ounces of water. The recommended water temperature to brew the tea is between 190-200 degrees Fahrenheit, with a recommended steep time of 3-4 minutes.
