Levoit LV-H134 Air Purifier Replacement Filter, When First Use, remove the plastic package of the filters before placing them into the air purifier. 1.Take the filter out of the housing , 2.Remove the plastic, 3.Install the filter, make sure the pull tabs facing out , When Should I Replace My Filters? Replace the filter every 6 months, or when the air purifier stops filtering fresh air. The filter change indicator may turn red within 6 months if your environment has high air pollutants , How to Replace the Air Filters? 1.Unplug the air purifier, and remove the back cover, 2.Remove the old air filters and properly dispose them , 3.Unwrap the new air filters and place it into the housing, making sure the pull tabs are facing the opening , 4.Properly replace the back cover onto the housing , 5.Plug in and turn on the air purifier , 6.
