Description
- Base is made in ABS Plastic. ABS is known for being a tough, hard, rigid, & chemical resistance material. Tile Insert Grate. Easy to remove: lifting key is included to assist with grate removal
- Easy to install: Thread the QM drain adaptor into the drain flange, adjust height as needed. QM drain fits into most common 2" ABS, PVC or Cast Iron shower drain flange. Drain Flange can be Purchased Separately: for PVC 83.100.00 PVC, for ABS for 83.100.00 ABS. Install with Standard waterproofing method.
- Frame Edges are made of 100 stainless Steel Marine 316. Frame prevents damage to the grout when the grate is removed. Our Stainless Steel marine grade 316 is designed to be lightweight, while still providing superior strength, maximum durability and top of the line corrosion resistance.
- Hair strainer basket comes with every QM drain, strainer fits inside the drain to collect hair and other debris, preventing pipe clogs. Also, keeps insect and small rodents from coming up thru the sewerage system. Empty basket as needed to maintain optimal performance. The use of the basket is optional
- All QM Drain products meet code approval in the United States and Canada per ASME Standard ASME A 112.18.2-2011/ CSA B 125.2-11. Our products were tested in CSA's laboratory to meet the above standards. Additionally, these standards are recognized in the Uniform Plumbing Code for Plumbing Waste Fittings.
