The formula for volume of a sphere is V=4/3πR^3. The volume of a 2.5 inch ball is 8.18. The volume of a 2 inch ball is 4.19. The volume of the 2.5 inch ball is therefore almost twice the volume of the 2 inch. This means the 2.5 inch ice ball has a much bigger volume that will last much longer in your drinks.
