- Self Leveling & Manual Mode: With the switch to the "unlocked" side, the tool is in self-leveling mode, means the tool will level itself if it is within 4 of horizontal. If the surface tilt more than 4 degrees, If the surface tilt more than 4 degrees, the lasers blink and the LED light on the top goes red; Slide the switch to "lock" side and press the button 3sec to turn on the laser in manual mode, the self-leveling feature is disabled and lock lines for alignment to other angles
