- Using the same compound as the V-Pads, the VLD are a range of brake pads for the cruiser or American big twin market available with highly polished chrome backing plates that offer zero brake noise and zero rotor galling proving to be gentle on rotors
- Uses EBCs E391 compound, an asbestos free, organic, molded friction material designed for use in heavy duty and off-highway motorcycle applications
- Being a semi-sintered pad containing 30 percent copper by weight, the V-pad combines the benefits of the 'feel' of an organic pad plus the low heat generation and rotor galling features that organics have with the lifetime of a sintered pad
- It has a medium-high coefficient of friction which retains a highly effective braking performance over a wide range of operating temperatures, creating stable braking with minimal pad and rotor wear, and minimal dusting of wheels
- Application: Heavy duty long life organic material for heavier touring bikes with a Wear Rate/Projected Street Miles of 42, 800 miles
