- ORIGINAL CHILI MIX: This Original Chili mix is a classic recipe that's easy to make and packed with flavor. This mix will surely be a home run with your family or party guests!
- DIRECTIONS: In a large pot, soak beans in water overnight. Drain beans and add 1 quart tomato juice and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour. In a separate pan, brown ground beef, and then drain. Add browned ground beef, tomatoes, and seasoning to liquid. Stir, cover, and simmer for additional 1-2 hours, or until beans are tender. Add salt/pepper to taste.
- OPTIONAL: Brown 3lb ground beef, drain, and add with beans. Try topping with crumbled bacon, saltines, or oyster crackers, or garnishing with chopped parsley or paprika.
