Coco Coir Potting Mix - All natural coco coir potting mixture, features coco coir, coco chips, and worm castings. Coco Coir is an all natural alternative to the traditional peat moss used in standard potting mixtures. Coco is both better for the environment and just as effective as peat moss.
What is the advantage of Coco Coir? - Coco coir sheds excess water quickly, allowing for gardeners to water their plants with fertilizer much more often than a peat based mixture. The excess water sheds away, while the roots can still also feed on the fertilizer as the water flows through. Great for indoor container gardening.
Coco Coir, Coco Chips, and Worm Castings - Coco coir is great alone, but to add a more chunky airy aspect to the mixture we have included coco chips. These chips break up the coir a bit and allow for more airflow to the roots of the plants, helping to eliminate root rot and encourage growth.
