MELALEUCA - Originally from Australia, this tea tree is related to the Manuka. Manuka honey and Melaleuca honey contain many of the same therapeutic phenolic acids and are very similar. Melaleuca is well know for its topical properties. Try some as a honey face mask. Mix in some of our pollen granules for an exfoliant too.
TASTE - Melaleuca honey has the taste of a medicinal honey. It is very strong and odiferous. Different in taste from raw Manuka honey. It is more comparable to a maple syrup and is great on oatmeal, cereal or smoothies.
SMALL BATCH BEEKEEPER HONEY - Our honey is BIO ACTIVE and COLD PACKED. Hand poured on our apiary / honey farm in Florida, USA. We bottle one barrel at a time each batch may be a little different depending on the yard the hives were located in.
NATURAL - This pure honey is lightly strained from the extractor. We leave all the good stuff from the hive in the jar. Cold packing honey and hand bottling is important to preserve the enzymes in the honey that can be destroyed with heated fast packaging lines.
GIFTING - This 12 ounce glass jar makes an attractive gift for the honey lover.
