- Salmon Marinade evolved from decades of grilling catch from multi-day long-range fishing adventures departing from San Diego, CA in search of tuna, albacore, yellowtail, dorado and many other pelagic species. Our all-natural ingredients blend easily with olive oil, vinegar, and soy sauce to make a wet rub that compliments, but does not overwhelm, the natural incredible flavor of any grilled fish.
- Our kids, growing up used to order salmon at restaurants but never ate it because it was not as good as Dad made at home. At Miners Mix, we say folks who claim not to like fish just have never had fish done well! We've been told multiple times by non-fish eaters that trying our charcoal-grilled tilapia or salmon was a life changing experience. Try this marinade and you'll be a believer as well.
- Any fish, when cooked over charcoal is superior to oven or pan fried, but this marinade works well for indoor cooking as well. For grilling, marinate 10-15 min only, then lay skin side down directly on the grill. You don't need wooden planks. Cook for a few minutes, then use a wide spatula or 2 spatulas at a time to gently roll the fillet over, then peel off the cooked skin and drizzle more marinade over the freshly peeled surface.
