Safe & Green is an eco-friendly fuel alternative to petroleum-based fuels. It's sustainable, non-toxic, non-hazardous and non-flammable fuel, but that's not all. It is also odorless and smokeless too when burning. Please note there is a distinct odor when you blow out the flame or sniff the fuel in the bottle. It smells "soapy" to us. Please read what other Amazon Reviewers say about smell to determine if this is the right fuel for you. If you are highly sensitive to odors, perhaps you should consider another Firefly Fuel such as our Paraffin Lamp Oil.
Firefly Safe & Green fuel can be used in tiki torches, oil lamps, lanterns, and fire pots with a wick. It's just what you need especially if you operate a resort, hotel or restaurant.
The raw material is Palm Kernel Oil. The plantations are RSPO certified. Simply, RSPO certification is an assurance to buyers of palm oil products that the standard of production is sustainable.
The oil is purchased from soap companies that would otherwise sell it for cosmetics, pesticides or other uses. In simple terms: it is waste material from another industry.
