Description

  1. Lightweight 16 inch bike with an internal geared 3 speed Shimano shifter. The shifter gives kids 3 gears that are easy to understand and use. With a shifter/gears, your small child can go further, cover more hills/terrain, and go more places with you.
  2. Hassle-free Assembly is only 2 easy steps with tools included ! It is more convenient than going to a store and waiting in a check-out line! Please see the assembly video.
  3. Lightweight parts and frame. Small amounts of weight are extremely important for small children to be able to learn to ride and ride more efficiently while covering long distances. This bike uses the lightest materials available within a reasonable price range, with the exception of the hub which is valuable weight gain for the gears and shifter.
  4. Safety, Coaster brakes included; best and safest type of brakes for the smallest children. Small hands have difficulty with leverage using hand brakes. Hand brakes go well for children large enough for a 20" bike.
  5. Excellent bike for 4-8 year olds , possibly an adept 3-year-old, for boys and girls. It is a common mistake for parents/kids to bump up to a larger bike prematurely believing it will be better while only adding weight and making riding more difficult. Larger wheels do not make a bike easier to ride. If the rider is comfortable on the 16" bike, stick with the smaller, lighter bike.
