• Bravo Bucks can be earned for a variety of things beyond toys including a play date with a friend, trip to the zoo or science museum, special time with a parent, or anything that is of value to the child. It does not have to be of material value.
• Teaching your kids about money and managing it properly is one of the most important lessons you can give them. Studies looking to find predictors in business success later in life all point to how early you learned about sound money management. Kids who learn positive financial habits at an early age give them the opportunity to be successful when they grow up.
• Bravo Bucks helps teach the work/reward concept and you decide the value of each task. Your child will learn to associate the number and color of the Bravo Buck with value, introducing them to the idea of money management in a fun way! Your children begin to make decisions as consumers, deciding whether to buy a toy or a snack.

Bravo Bucks makes learning about earning, saving and spending fun for your children. When preschoolers begin to learn and understand the usefulness of money, they will want some of their own! Bravo Bucks will teach kids how to develop the right habits about money early on. Learning to be responsible with their Bravo Bucks and respect the value of hard work are just a few of the lessons learned with Bravo Bucks that will serve them well the rest of their lives. STEP 1 - The jobs you assign to your kids should be age-appropriate and should include morning, afternoon and evening responsibilities. Use the enclosed task lists or make your own. STEP 2 - Decide how much each task on your list is worth. In most homes, each Bravo Buck has a value of about 10 cents. STEP 3 - Choose a day of the week when your children redeem their Bravo Bucks for a reward. For most families, Fridays make the most sense. STEP 4 - Children will eagerly adopt the Bravo Bucks program when they understand they're working toward something they want - a new toy, a piece of sporting equipment, a trip to the movies. Each child is different, and finding out what keeps children engaged is part of the fun!
