The R DE VideoMic is a professional grade 1/2" condenser shotgun microphone designed for use with consumer video cameras and personal audio recorders. The integrated Rycote shock mounting system isolates the VideoMic capsule and electronics from its all-metal shoe mount, providing isolation from external physical factors that may cause unwanted rumble and vibrations in the microphone. Its standard sized shoe mount also includes a 3/8" thread in the base for easy mounting on the included boom pole and adaptor. The On Stage MBP7000 boom pole is machined from a sturdy and lightweight aluminum, which allows you to mount your microphone securely and follow your sound source with ease. It features three telescopic rods that utilize a twist-and-lock system, creating quick, simple and efficient settings extending the length from 3.1-8.1 feet. This package also includes a 25 ft.. extension cable in order to connect the Videomic to your camera when mounted on a fully extended boom pole. Its super cardioid polar pattern is highly directional, focusing on the subject in front of the camera, and minimizing any surrounding sounds.
