The clear tube stands upright in the base, the four individual numbered comes complete with shelves. Each player chooses a numbered compartment that uses it during the whole game. The rods are pushed pass through the hole halfway up the the pipe to create a grid. The marbles are then placed on top of the tube and the grid. Easy to assemble and you're ready to go.
