- VITON GASKET- Viton is space age material that is very chemically inert. As such it is commonly used with gasoline, kerosine and other organic solvents. Some companies sell solenoid valves with NBR gasket and advertise gasoline use. DO NOT USE NBR gasket for gasoline .
