- EXACT REPLACEMENT HAYWARD SP11071 - Skim-Vacs remove the need to turn the pump off to connect the vacuum hose to the inlet. You'll also vacuum from the skimmer basket instead of the pump's strainer basket, removing the risk of clogs caused by the debris. And with an exact fit Skim-Vac, vacuuming is a breeze.
- 7 1/4-INCH SKIMMER VACUUM PLATE - Please note that Skim-Vac models are not interchangeable. Skim-Vac SP1106 and SP1107, for example, are just a bit smaller at 7 inches compared to SP11071's 7 1/4 inches in diameter. Including the hose elbow adapter, the vacuum plate's length is 8.2 inches.
- SKIM VAC 1 1/4 INCHES AND 1 1/2 INCHES COMBO HOSE ELBOW ADAPTER - The combo hose adapter is removable and replaceable with elbow adapter part number SPX1088H. The 90-degree elbow has a 1 1/2-inch opening with a 1 1/4-inch adapter for vacuum hoses.
- COMPATIBLE WITH HAYWARD SP1089 FRONT ACCESS-STYLE SKIMMERS - Part number SP11071 is only compatible with one Hayward skimmer model, Dyna-Skim In-Ground Pool Skimmer SP1089 with a 7 1/2 perforated basket. And since SP1089 is a front access skimmer, you'll need to remove the cover or the weir to install the Skim-Vac.
- DOES NOT INCLUDE RUBBER GASKET - SP11071 is one of the Skim-Vac models that does not come with a rubber gasket. This Skim-Vac model relies on its specially designed sealing surface. Please note that scuffs or other types of surface damage may affect the Skim-Vac's ability to hold suction.
